Thanks for your prompt response and helping us with this transaction. I'm the agent and the buyers and sellers are trying to negotiate all the last issues you're being able to come on short notice was very helpful. Also thanks for the timely and accurate report and pictures.
I am so glad I said yes to having you checked the rest of the house. The regular home inspector told us we need to have you come to further diagnose the mold that he observed in the crawl space but he didn't see the mold in the Boiler Room. We thought was his inspection that everything else should be fine but more eyes are better than fewer eyes and your inspection encompassed more than his inspection did. I'm so glad that I said yes to having you inspect the rest of the home and you were able to diagnose the mold in the Boiler Room. Thanks again.
We are looking at buying this home and didn't want to have any major surprises. There are a number of repairs that will need to be made but we wanted to have an opinion as to water damage and mold work that may be needed. The inspection was informative and reassuring well worth our money.
It's scary to think about spending this much money on buying a home. We really appreciate the expertise in your feedback 4 the mold issues in the home that were considering. Thanks again, we would recommend the flood company.
I learned a lot from having the home inspected for water damage and mold. I didn't even know the right questions to ask before. I'm glad I had the inspection before following through to purchase this home the issues that were identified we're helpful. I would recommend the flood company.
We're already doing a lot of remodeling work to is covered by the insurance reimbursement this seems like the ideal time to get everything done and fixed up just the way we wanted it. We just moved into this home about a year ago the timing actually worked out pretty well.
Very thorough, I was impressed. We are buying a new home, some of our family have respiratory issues, and we did not want have a mold problem. So we brought in the best! That's what our home inspector said when he referred us to The Flood Co and I tend to agree. They are helping to make us much more confident with the purchase of this home.
Daryl was able to find and document a lot more mold than the regular home inspectors did. If not for this inspection I could have had a $20,000 surprise sometime after I bought the Home.
We are trying to buy this home and we hired a home inspector that we know and trust. The inspector pointed out some visible mold on a basement window sill and some water damage on the bottom of a wall in a bedroom. He said call The Flood Co., they can tell you if you have a mold problem and what you should do if you do. Daryl from The Flood Co came diagnosed those two areas and found two more areas, one that is larger than the others. It's all fixable, but I'm sure glad that I know about it now rather than later.
I am so glad to get to the bottom of these mold problems before we buy this property. We fell in love with the property and the price is reasonable, but we don't want to buy a home with mold. We are asking the sellers to cleanup and fix the problems or we will find another home to buy. I would recommend The Flood Co to help figure put any mold problem.
I appreciate their frank and open evaluation with practical recommendations. The solutions they proposed included very little of their sevices. I appreciate the honesty.
I'm learning a lot about field, a lot more than I ever thought I wanted to know. With everything that I've learned there's one thing that I do know and that is that I would be up a creek without the help from these guys. There's a lot of different ideas and attitudes about mold and how to remove it and clean it up, I'm glad I have someone I can trust.
I would never buy a property with out have The Flood Co check it out for me. The risks are too great, it is money well spent.
Mold inspection in Park City Utah. Ethan five star properties have dirty things lurking or hiding behind surfaces. This unit is beautiful and Immaculate and very high end of course, but the furnace filter hasn't been changed or cleaned in a very long time. We also found a little bit of mold it was very well well hidden though.
Water damage Cleanup in Park City Utah. Had a modest amount of water that came into a bedroom and family room in the basement of this home. There's a low spot in the Landscaping that allows surface water to collect and soak in. The water damage may also have been related to a sprinkler problem with some sprinklers that were recently redone by the neighbor nearby. They discovered the dampness quickly the clean up and dry out was pretty minimal.
Mold inspection in Park City Utah. This attic has a little bit of everything. It has mold the probably developed from Ice damming. It also has mold that's from condensation and the two main culprits adding to the condensation are bathroom exhaust fans that are not vented to the outside and literally no ventilation in the attic space at all.
Here we are playing Sherlock Holmes again at this mold inspection in Park City Utah. This is a very beautiful and expensive home it's Park City. water damaged event years ago that was not addressed and cleaned up correctly. Whatever they're thinking was at the time I guess they thought it wasn't a big deal and and didn't require professional mitigation. Mold inspection in Park City Utah. The Maltese visible in this picture is on a joist in the Attic. This mold grew on the wood when it was on the job site before it was ever installed as part of the house many years ago. The house has been bought twice before the current transaction and everyone is was oblivious that the mold was there. Just because of the home has been inspected don't trust that it's mold free.
We are trying to be creative and drying out this finished bathroom in this condo in Park City to avoid any more demolition if possible. When there's wet materials and it's not easy to access those surfaces it is not as easy to get those areas dry especially when they are dense Structural Materials.
Mold inspection in Park City Utah. This bathroom exhaust vent exhaust into the attic space. They are supposed to be ducted to the outside. When they exhaust warm humid air into the attic in the winter that's too much humidity and it can lead to condensation and potentially mold. In this instance they do have some mold from condensation in this attic and the improper venting of the fan is part of the problem.
Mold inspection in Ferr Valley Utah. We found the mold under the carpet and in the bottom of the walls in this closet from a small water damage event 3 years ago that the owner hadn't even given a second thought about. It's the same lesson we learn over and over again. "Don't ignore water damage, make sure you get everything dry quickly to prevent mold."
Inspecting for mold in a beautiful home in Deer Valley Utah. This home is beautiful it's very nicely built and finished and furnished and immaculately clean. I did not find any mold or water damage events that could be mold related other than one area of ceiling and wall the Ted ice damming. We are doing a second round of air sample testing before we cut into those walls.
Mold inspection in Park City Utah. This customer when I first arrived asked me if I was not going to test for mold what exactly was I going to do because she had already had a home inspector out. She did not understand or appreciate what a mold inspection consisted of. 2 hours later when we walk through and I showed her 17 separate areas that I identified with varying degrees of mold. Even with 5 years of living in the property and a home inspection she was only aware of 3 of the 17 issues.
Mold Cleanup in Park City Utah. The mold is very heavy and dance on some of the pieces of drywall that were removing as part of this mold cleanup. This homeowner was grateful to find out about the mold during their due diligence before they own the home so they could make plans and make it part of their negotiations. They recently closed on the home and so we're here helping them with the mold removal and cleanup.
We are working on a mold removal in Park City Utah. On the other side of this window was a kitchen sink with all of its Plumbing there was mold on the wall behind the cabinets. We've removed the cabinets and we're cleaning up the mold and some of the mold appear to be from Plumbing sources but also this window seem to be a source of moisture. And sure enough look at the quarter inch size crack on the outside of the window that has been letting water in.
We are getting started on the mold removal at this Park City home. The mold was from a prior leak that allowed mold to grow in under and Behind These kitchen cabinets. The appearance of the kitchen in the cabinets is not nice but in order to remove the mold we need to take off the countertops and remove the cabinets. Also at least one of the cabinets will the cabinet box will need to be rebuilt.
Investigating a prior water damage in Park City Utah. It's a beautiful day and there's still snow on the slopes it would be a nice day to be skiing.
